Moose are so rad. People come to this area and always want to see a moose, but they're a lot harder to locate than most other animals - but if you are looking, they're usually found on the banks of rivers or creeks. They're big here, but I've seen a Canadian moose head mounted on the wall in a house, and WOW! They're doing something special up there. Anyways, good luck with your next moose sighting.
On this painting, I began with the color palette: greens, blue-greens, cool greys, and brown, and I'm happy to say he evolved into a uniquely modern moose.
